The Brand

The Japanese word "Sokudo" translates to "velocity" - the speed in which something travels in a given direction.

The constant progression in culture, design trends, and relevance are forever traveling at an exponential pace. The only thing moving faster than these advancements in our society is our insistent demand to consume them as quickly as they're created. Unquestionably - some of these things are necessary for us to evolve and move forward as a civilization, but it seems along this journey - quality, innovation, and authenticity are slowly becoming things of the past.

Contrary to our namesake, Sokudo remains grounded - anchored in a place in time where we can concentrate and thoroughly appreciate the aforementioned.

Whilst we will never cease to experiment, innovate, and explore, there is in fact, something we will never stray away from - creating simple utilitarian products.
